What is Sentiment and how is it calculated?

Sentiment measures the emotional tone of social media conversation around a topic, weighted by engagement, reported as a 0-100 percentage. Very negative sentiment is ranked at 0 while very positive is ranked as 100. Sentiment is aggregated hourly across all social mentions and is memorialized every 24 hours.
