What is AltRank?

AltRank™ ranks assets by combined social and market momentum. A rank of 1 means the strongest relative performance across the tracked universe right now. Unlike Galaxy Score (absolute), AltRank is relative: rank 1 is performing better than everything else at that moment.

For example, if Ethereum has an AltRank of 1, it has the strogest relative combined social and market activity vs. the entire crypto market.

AltRank is available for both cryptocurrencies and stocks. Access via the LunarCrush API as alt_rank in API responses.
