Social Volume is the number of public social posts that mention a topic or asset over a given period. It is the raw measure of how much something is being talked about across the platforms LunarCrush tracks — X, Reddit, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and news outlets. The 24-hour figure (available as social_volume_24h in API responses) is the most common view. Social Volume counts posts after spam and bot filtering, so a spike reflects genuine conversation rather than automated noise.
