Social Dominance is the percentage share of total social conversation that a topic or asset captures across all tracked topics or assets within a specific category. If Bitcoin has a Social Dominance of 30%, it accounts for 30% of all crypto-related social posts at that moment within the Cryptocurrencies category. It is a direct read on narrative concentration: how much of the market’s attention one asset is absorbing relative to everything else.
