Construisez avec LunarCrush : API, MCP et SDKs
The AI Reference serves the same LunarCrush data the way language models prefer it — markdown by default — at https://lunarcrush.ai. It is addressable by topic, category, creator, or post, and reuses the same Bearer API key as the rest of the platform, so there is no separate credential.
Formats
Every endpoint returns LLM-ready markdown by default. Append ?format=json or ?format=csv for structured output. Reach for the AI Reference to ground a prompt with a fast, copy-pasteable snapshot; for programmatic access from your own stack, the API Reference stays the right entry point.

All requests use HTTPS and return JSON. Authenticate every call with an Authorization: Bearer <API_KEY> header. The base URL is https://lunarcrush.com/api4. The same key powers the webapp, the CLI, and the MCP server. You can hold up to five active keys at once; generate, label, rotate, and revoke them on the API Keys page. Keep keys secret — if one leaks, delete it and generate a new one.
Rate limits and plan gating
Every request counts against your plan's per-minute and daily quota. Limits and endpoint access are set by your subscription tier and match the plans on the pricing page:

The free Hobby tier is limited to market-data endpoints; social, creator, and AI endpoints unlock on paid plans. Enterprise limits are custom — talk to sales.
