The problem before was that reading it took work. The new platform removes the work.
Here is what we built, why we built it, and what you can do with it starting today.
Why we rebuilt the LunarCrush platform
The old LunarCrush grew feature by feature for years. Every addition made sense on its own. Together, they added up to a platform that asked you to know where to look before it could help you. You had to set things up, learn the layout, and dig for the insight you came for.
We talked to a lot of you. Traders, analysts, developers, and people checking the market on their phone between meetings. The feedback pointed in one direction. People wanted clearer insights, a faster workflow, and more value out of the box. Fewer steps between opening the app and understanding what is happening.
So we started over with four rules:
- Make it personal. What is relevant to you should be primary. The platform centers on the assets, sectors, topics, and creators you follow, and the more you use it, the more it learns what matters to you and the smarter and more tailored it gets.
- Show the signal first. You should understand what is moving the moment you land, without configuring anything.
- One intelligence layer, many ways in. The same live data should be available in the app, inside your AI tools, in your terminal, and in your code.
- Fast everywhere. Phone, tablet, and desktop should all feel quick and complete.
Everything in the new platform follows from those rules. Personalization is not a setting buried in a menu. It is the center of the experience.
What is new

Discover is the front door, and it does the work for you. Open LunarCrush Discover and you see what is trending right now across everything LunarCrush tracks: crypto, stocks, sports, AI, financial trends, prediction markets, brands, creators, and more. Emerging narratives, sentiment shifts, and the assets and topics pulling real attention, ranked and ready to read.
This is the biggest change in how the platform feels. There is no blank dashboard waiting for you to build it. The intelligence is already there, and personalization shapes it. Discover leans toward the assets, sectors, topics, and creators you follow, so the signal you see first is the signal most relevant to you. You scan the movers, spot the narrative forming, and decide where to dig deeper.
What you are seeing is not raw chatter, and it is far more than sentiment. LunarCrush runs on a full suite of social metrics: social volume and mentions, engagements, active creators, social dominance, and more. We roll the most important of those signals into proprietary scores, so a single number can tell you what is happening:
- AltRank combines social activity with market performance to surface assets outperforming on both at once.
- Galaxy Score measures the overall health of an asset across social and market signals.
- Social Sentiment tells you whether the conversation is turning positive or negative.
- CategoryRank shows how an asset ranks within its category, so you can read whole narratives like AI, sports, prediction markets, DePIN, or real world assets, not just single names.
Under every score sits that raw suite of metrics, so you can go from a ranked headline number straight down to the exact mentions, engagements, and creators driving it. The result is simple. You get a read on any topic in seconds, not after twenty minutes of setup.
Insights catch the spikes and explain them
LunarCrush watches social metrics in real time and flags the moment something breaks from its normal pattern. When mentions, engagement, or new creator activity spike on an asset or topic, Insights surface the move and pull in the chatter driving it, ranked and put in context. Your Home screen, personalized to you
Set your interests once and your Home screen becomes your own intelligence feed. Alerts that come to you

This works across everything we cover: the analysts shaping a crypto narrative, the voices moving a stock, the accounts driving a sports storyline, the researchers steering the AI conversation, and the influencers behind a trending brand.
Open a creator to see how their influence is trending, what they are posting now, and which topics they move. Watch a topic to see its creator leaderboard shift in real time as new voices break out. When a narrative starts to build, you can see who is behind it before it goes mainstream, then keep following those creators so you catch the next move early.
Custom Collections track absolutely anything
Collections are how you turn LunarCrush into a tool built around your exact interests. A Collection is a custom data stream that can track absolutely anything across social: any mix of coins, stocks, topics, sectors, creators, keywords, brands, teams, or narratives, combined into one live view that updates in real time.
Track your portfolio next to the sectors you are watching. Build a stream for an AI narrative, a sports league, a prediction market, or a set of competitors. Follow a single keyword across every platform we monitor. Whatever you want to keep an eye on, you can assemble it into a Collection and watch it move.
This is where Collections become essential for Enterprise users and builders. A fund can monitor every asset and narrative in its strategy in one place. A brand or marketing team can track its own mentions, its competitors, and the creators shaping its category. A builder can curate the exact stream their product needs, then pull it straight into an application through the API or into an agent through MCP. Personalized navigation and a faster experience
The new navigation adapts to what you use most, so the tools you reach for are always close. And the whole platform was rebuilt for speed across devices. Whether you are on your phone or three monitors deep, you get the full picture quickly.
How we built it
The hard part of social intelligence is not collecting data. It is making sense of it. We process millions of social posts across X, Reddit, YouTube, TikTok, and more, then filter out bots and spam to focus on real human conversation. That filtered signal feeds the metrics above, updated continuously across thousands of assets and topics.
The rebuild unified all of it onto a single intelligence layer. In the old world, the app, the API, and the integrations could feel like separate products. Now they are different doors into the same live data. The number you see in Discover is the same number your agent gets through MCP and the same number your code gets through the API. One source of truth, many surfaces.
That decision is what makes the developer story below possible.
Build on LunarCrush
The new site gives developers a real home. If you want to put LunarCrush data inside an app, an agent, a trading model, or a dashboard, there are now three clean ways in: MCP, the CLI, and the API. All three read from the same intelligence layer.
The MCP server
The Model Context Protocol is an open standard for connecting AI models to live tools and data. The LunarCrush MCP server gives any MCP-compatible client real-time awareness of social trends, sentiment, and community momentum, with responses formatted for language models to use directly.
Connecting takes a single URL and your API key. It works with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Cline, and Windsurf, and plugs into agent frameworks like LangChain and CrewAI.
